Poole

Poole is a family-friendly seaside town built on Europe's largest natural harbour.
A range of Blue Flag beaches are but a short drive away and throughout the Summer months there are events on the Quay or down at the beach with fun, entertainment and fireworks!

The town boasts a pedestrianised High Street with a wide range of shops and restaurants and the Dolphin Shopping Centre.
The Lighthouse Arts Centre houses a theatre, concert hall, cinema and gallery.

Boat trips are available from the Quay around the harbour, to Brownsea Island, along the coast and day trips to Jersey, Guernsey and France (Cherbourg).

On the outskirts of town, Tower Park is the south coast's largest entertainment complex featuring a 10 screen cinema, Gala Bingo, BowlPlex 10 pin bowling, La Fitness, Splashdown with indoor and outdoor flumes and pools and a wide selection of restaurants.

On the water, there are opportunities for power boating, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and jet-skiing.

Poole Stadium holds regular greyhound racing meetings and motorcycle speedway events.

As well as being an attractive, busy and interesting town in its own right, Poole is also ideally situated for exploration further afield with excellent road and rail links.
The town is the gateway to the Jurassic coast, reached by car by way of picturesque Wareham or via the Sandbanks chain ferry which gives easy access to the beaches of Studland and Swanage.
To the West lie Lulworth Cove and Weymouth and to the East the large resort towns of Bournemouth and Christchurch are easily reached by car or bus. Inland, picturesque countryside, quaint villages and quality attractions wait to be discovered.
